The Essential Jesus is a modern translation of the Gospel of Luke – one of the four accounts of Jesus in the Bible.

Rather than just go on what others say about Jesus, this is a great place to investigate why knowing him is so important. It’s only 80 pages, including some helpful notes.

Who is Jesus? Repeatedly, that question was asked by his first followers, by those who heard about him – and also by the religious establishment.

Today, people still ask that same question. Not long ago, a billboard went up in Sydney, proclaiming Jesus as a Prophet. Is he? Or a great teacher? Or an example to follow? Or something more?

Jesus is the most important person you can know. How we relate to Jesus now is of enormous importance. We’ve just completed a series of encouraging sermons from the Bible on the question, “Who is Jesus?”. We hope you will discover that Jesus is so much greater than you imagined.
